We had been here before, because when we were in the area last time, no matter where we were, there as a signpost pointing the way to Wandering. So we took it.
This time we were on our way to Beverley, so we stayed the night. Quiet, with a few walks around the oval, where we stayed, with plaques indicating the history of the town.
The camp kitchen had a TV with remote controls, book exchange, local information and a free washing machine, a large stove, and a large BBQ on the verandah.
The washing machine used to be in the amenities block, but was relocated to make room for more storage for the cleaning staff. A clothesline outside the amenities block is well situated, catching the sunshine and cool breezes to quickly dry the clothes.
Small population, around 170 people, no shops to speak of, but a great CRC. Staff were super friendly, manning a great coffee shop. There was a gift shop inside as well as the library, and a meeting room.

Outside there was a community garden with lots of fresh greens, and the War Memorial, with an avenue of Irises bordering the walkway.

They did have a self serve fuel station, but nowhere to purchase milk, bread or just the basics if needed.
Well worth the visit if you’re in the area.
