We departed the free camp just before Newman, and cruised around the town. Had to do a bit of food shopping and easily found the shopping centre. They had an IGA, Woolworths, Chicken Treat, Subway and generally shops that cover the day to day essentials. Quite the tidy town, which surprised me, as I assumed

We left Onslow and headed for Nanutarra Roadhouse to refill the tanks and turned towards Paraburdoo, stopping at an overnight free camp – Spuds.  It’s a huge area, quiet with little road noise, and the bonus, we were the only ones there. We have been blessed with the weather, and next day was no exception.

Next stop from Carnavon was Minilya Bridge Roadhouse. Two free camps here, south, the first one you come to was full. So we drove over the river to north of the river, and there was heaps of free spaces. Setting up camp for the night, we appreciated the peace and quiet of the area, with

We visited the Carnarvon Space & Technology Museum today, and spent 1/12 hours there  and could have spent more time. A must see for visitors to the area. It was very informative and they had great replicas on site. For example, right to the exact measurements, of the first lunar landing module. It was small.

The journey continues: After weeks of to and fro for commitments in Perth, we finally left Yanchep heading for Eneabba for the night’s stop. However, weariness overtook us and we stayed at Karda Reserve overnight.  Love it there. Incredibly peaceful.  Next day we were off to Nabawa, and a couple of nights at the Valley
